I never thought I would write a review about toilet paper! But the quality of this toilet paper has declined so badly that i’m considering purchasing the same toilet paper found in airports. And, the new wavy tear lines is an irritation! I don’t care for the wavy tear lines, the wavy lines create a messy tear… I guess my expectation to pay for quality toilet paper has gone in the same direction as most things sold to Americans … paying for quality (at ordinary stores) is a thing of the past! Now I am wondering if I should trust that the paper is germ free????

I’m very disappointed with the lack of quality in Charmin Bath
Tissue…..have been for a couple years. The alleged new and improved tissue is horrible! Currently, the new wavy “smooth tear” is barely perforated and on some long lengths, not perforated at all! It’s wasteful, overpriced, and frustrating! I will not buy again.

Have always liked Charmin Ultra Soft and still do. However I do not like the new way sheets are cut. They claim it is to make the sheets easier to tear off. It doesn’t make it any easier at all! Pretty sure it is simply to make the sheet smaller.

I like the quality of Charmin TP, but this new “smooth tear” is terrible. I hate it. You can’t fold it properly. They show in the commercial the straight tear one as tearing off jagged, and this tearing off smooth as being a great feature. But in reality, the smooth tear one does the same thing as the other. And it’s irritating. I saw they had the red package that was the regular tear having the $5 off or whatever it was a few weeks ago and went to get some, but they only had the smooth tear one so I had to get it as I needed TP and was going to have surgery soon and didn’t have time to go find where they had the other kind. Where can I find the red package kind in a Costco Warehouse in San Diego? Can anyone tell me? Again, I HATE this stupid smooth tear stuff!

It’s nice to be able to order items from Costco that are not available in store, but they are almost always damaged due to Costco’s extremely poor packaging. Canned goods are just thrown in a box and are beat, battered and dented when received.

Tis is not the same as Ultra Soft Charmin. It’s like a combination of Ultra Strong and Ultra Soft. I think they did that due to the waving tear of edge, which how ever it tears it looks sloppy.
