Crisp and clear display, easy on the eyes. I purchased two Samsung 27” Curved monitors to complement my telework space. My experience over the past two months has been great! The display is crisp and clear with blue-screen filtering setting; the outer white casing is a nice change; and unlike other reviewers who commented on Excel documents being distorted due to the curved surface, I have not experienced any difficulty or needed an adjustment period.
I was on the fence between the 27” and the 24” curved display. I’m glad I went with the 27”, but I’d recommend the 24” for smaller workspaces. (We have 2 of each and they are all great!)

Love the white colored exterior of this curved monitor. In response to people posting about the curvature affecting working on things like spreadsheets. This is patently untrue and is an issue only if you’re viewing the monitor from a side-angle. When working with the monitor head-on, you literally cannot even tell the monitor is curved. And I work on a LOT of Excel spreadsheets and not once have I had an issue or even noticed anything that appeared “off” in any way. The monitor has amazing clarity and crispness. The only downside that others mentioned is the lack of internal speakers, but if you have external speakers as I do, you wouldn’t use it anyway. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I do love the monitor and appreciate the curved screen as I am a game player. The reason I gave it a 4 mirrors the comment from another reviewer. In order to remove the stand support on the back of the monitor so you can mount it on the wall, you have to remove the entire back of the monitor to get to the screws attaching the support. This is not easy and the monitor does not come with instructions. Therefore, like the other reviewer, I broke the top left of the plastic rim around the front of the screen. This obviously doesn’t impact the monitor performance but it is unfortunate. I would expect Samsung to design a more flexible system or at least include instructions.

I like the monitor size and the curved feature. I only gave it a 3 star because it has become increasingly difficult to get the monitor to “wake up”. Sometimes it ‘wakes up’ after hitting the space bar/mouse only 3-4 times, but lately that won’t do the trick. About a month into my ownership, I had to hold the switch on the back and it woke up. Lately, it has increased to multiple times a day with pressing on the on/off switch numerous times. There is no wake up response to the space bar/mouse action. It’s time to call tech support to return the screen for a new one. I have looked online for a ‘fix’ but found little advice that helps.

Bought two of these for my wife and mounted on a dual arm mount. She loves them. Nice upgrade over two 24″ flat screens. I like the white bezel too – looks very sharp. I recommend getting a dual mounting arm that allows fine-tuning the placement and freeing up desk space. Some people complain about curved monitors and spreadsheets. If you don’t have the monitors at the right viewing angle, straight lines can appear curved. After adjusting so you are looking straight on, it’s not a problem – she uses spreadsheets all day – no complaints.

I bought this or replace an existing monitor which I use for work (I have a double monitor set up). While it was larger than my original one, for the price it was the way to go. So far the picture is clear and I haven’t had any issues. I didn’t need sound as I have speakers on my other monitor, but if you need sound, be aware that this does not have speakers built it. Thankfully I didn’t need them, but it would have been something I would have assumed it would have and been mad once it arrived, so it is good to know.

I love this monitor though initially I doubted my purchase. The stylish curved unit is much larger than my previous model, so much larger that I had to sit back a bit or move it back. I was concerned as it appeared a bit blurry, but finally realized it was my reading glasses! I wore 2.50 – 2.75 glasses with my smaller monitor but, with a greater distance sitting back a bit, it changed my focal point. I purchased 1.75 readers just for this monitor and, voila!, everything is sharp and clear. I also love the classy white frame.
