WHAT MAKES ALTEYA’S ROSE WATER DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE

Unlike the majority of rose waters, which are usually synthetically perfumed essences, mixtures of rose fragrances and regular water, or are by-products of the rose oil distillation process, Alteya’s organic rose water is unique as it is thermal-distilled directly from fresh rose petals (Rosa Damascena) without separating the rose oils during the process, using our proprietary distillation method. This ensures that our rose water retains all therapeutic and skin care properties of the amazing Bulgarian rose flowers.

Alteya’s rose water is also USDA NOP Certified Organic. The USDA Organic Standard is the strictest organic regulation in the world. Products that carry the USDA organic seal are: 1) Based on 100% organically-grown and organically-produced ingredients; Or 2) Contain a minimum of 95% organically-grown and organically produced ingredients; and any remaining ingredients must be approved on the USDA National Organic Product list.

A key ingredient in all of Alteya’s products is the Bulgarian Rose Oil (Rose Otto from Rosa Damascena). The Bulgarian Rose is grown at our own organic rose fields, and the rose oil and rose water are distilled at our own Organic Distillery. For years, we have researched ancient traditional recipes and the miracle effects of organic rose on skin. As a result, we were able to produce rare Rose–based organic skin and body care products based on old proven formulations enhanced to specifically meet the skincare needs of modern, eco-savvy people. Our organic skin care is based on an exclusive compound, our proprietary Bio-Damascena® Skin Reviving Complex, a combination of organic essential oils and extracts combined with Organic Bulgarian Rose Otto designed to improve skins’ resistance to environmental factors and slow down the aging process.

The Bulgarian Rose Otto is also world’s most precious essential oil. It is used in today’s top perfume brands, medicine, and cosmetics.
